4-I guide
And by the dawn as it lights up.
Start with bismillah.
Wake up early one day and watch the sky. Ask: "What colours did you see before the Sun rose?"
Watch the WCNC Weather IQ video breaking down the stages of twilight.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does the dawn do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does the sky get light before the Sun appears?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Muddaththir is surah 74. Find ayah 34. The key words was-subhi idha asfar mean by the dawn when it shines. The sky brightens slowly before sunrise. This is also the time of Fajr salah.
Fact: What are the three stages of twilight?
Ages 5–8: Sky colours. Paint or colour the sky at dawn with soft pinks, oranges and blues.
Ages 9–12: Fajr time. Find today's Fajr and sunrise times. How long is the gap?
Finish with: "I found that the three stages of twilight are ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will try to wake up for Fajr."
Action: Try to wake up for Fajr.
