4-I guide
This ayah opens Surah Al-'Adiyat with an oath by horses running so hard that you can hear them pant.
Start with bismillah.
Run on the spot as fast as you can for thirty seconds. Then stop and listen. Ask: "What's happening to your breathing? Can you hear it?"
Watch the BBC Earth video of wild horses galloping through a river at full speed.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which animals does this ayah describe, and what are they doing?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah swear by horses?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-'Adiyat is surah 100, and it has eleven ayat. Find ayah 1. The surah's name means "the runners". Can you find that idea in the translation?
Fact: How fast can a horse gallop, and how many breaths does it take while running?
Ages 5–8: Breath count. Count your breaths in one minute sitting still, then after a minute of running. What changed?
Ages 9–12: Compare speeds. Find the top speed of a horse, a cheetah and a person. Make a bar chart.
Finish with: "I found that a horse can gallop at about ___ km an hour."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will put my best effort into ___ at ___."
Action: Try your plan out each day this week.
