4-I guide
This ayah ends Surah Az-Zalzalah: whoever does even an atom's weight of wrong will see it.
Start with bismillah.
A gentle note for parents: pair this ayah with hope. Allah forgives everyone who says sorry and tries again.
Let a tap drip into a cup for one minute. Ask: "One drop is tiny. What happens after hundreds of drops?"
Watch the OutSCIder Classroom video in Mammoth Cave about how drips build stalactites and stalagmites. (It has background music, and a presenter appears.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How does this ayah match the one before it?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Do tiny mistakes really matter?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Az-Zalzalah is surah 99. Find ayah 8, the last one. Read ayat 7 and 8 side by side. Which words are the same, and which are different?
Fact: How many years does it take a stalactite to grow just one centimetre?
Ages 5–8: Drip test. Leave a cup under a slowly dripping tap (with an adult) for ten minutes. Measure how much water collected.
Ages 9–12: Grow a mini stalactite. Hang a wool string between two jars of strong bicarbonate of soda solution, with a plate under the dip. Check it daily.
Finish with: "I found that tiny drips can build ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when I do something wrong, even something small, I will say sorry to ___ and to Allah."
Action: Say astaghfirullah before bed each night this week.

Only visit caves with a guide or trusted adult. Don't drink the bicarbonate solution.
