4-I guide
This ayah asks us to think: what if that servant of Allah is following true guidance?
Start with bismillah.
Blindfold one child and guide them across the room with only your voice. Ask: "How did it feel to have a guide?"
Watch the National Geographic video about how monarch butterflies find their way thousands of kilometres.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What word about the right way can you hear?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who guides the butterflies?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-'Alaq is surah 96. Find ayah 11. The key word al-huda means guidance. We ask Allah for it in every rak'ah of our prayer, in Surah Al-Fatihah. Can you find where?
Fact: Which bird makes the longest migration in the world?
Ages 5–8: Follow the arrows. Hide a treat and make a trail of paper arrows to it. Swap and follow each other's trails.
Ages 9–12: Navigation tools. List three ways birds or butterflies find their way (sun, stars, Earth's magnetism). Which one surprises you most?
Finish with: "I found that monarchs find their way using ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah for guidance when I ___."
Action: Help a younger child find their way to something they're looking for.
