4-I guide
This ayah says: when you have finished one task, work hard at the next.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "When you finish your homework, what do you usually do next?"
Watch the BBC Earth video of hummingbirds in slow motion, beating their wings again and again.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What should we do when we finish one thing?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I use my free time for good?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Sharh is surah 94. Find ayah 7. The key word fansab means stand up and work hard, especially in worship.
Fact: How many times a second can a hummingbird beat its wings?
Ages 5–8: Flap count. Flap your arms like wings as fast as you can for ten seconds. Count the flaps. How many would a hummingbird do?
Ages 9–12: Free time plan. Write down your free time for one day. Choose one slot to fill with something good: reading Quran, helping, learning.
Finish with: "I found that a hummingbird beats its wings ___ times a second."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when I finish ___, I will spend five minutes on ___."
Action: Fill one free slot each day with something good.
