4-I guide
This ayah opens Surah Ad-Duha with an oath by the bright morning light.
Start with bismillah.
On a sunny morning, stand by a window and close your eyes. Ask: "Can you feel where the light is coming from?"
Watch the time-lapse of a morning glory flower opening in the morning light.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which time of day does Allah swear by?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does the flower know it's morning?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ad-Duha is surah 93, and it has eleven ayat. Find ayah 1. Ad-duha is the bright part of the morning, when the sun has climbed up and everything is lit.
Fact: Why do some flowers open in the morning and close at night?
Ages 5–8: Flower watch. Find a daisy or dandelion and check it at breakfast, lunch and evening. Draw it each time.
Ages 9–12: Light meter. Use a phone light-meter app (or your eyes) to compare brightness at 7am, 10am and noon. Make a chart.
Finish with: "I found that the morning glory opens when ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, in the morning, I will ___ before anything else."
Action: Say a morning dua as soon as you wake.
