4-I guide
This ayah swears by the soul and the One who shaped it and gave it balance.
Start with bismillah.
Close your eyes and notice how you feel right now: happy, tired, excited, calm? Ask: "Where do feelings come from?"
Watch the Little School video about emotions and feelings.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah swear by here?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What is my soul?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shams is surah 91. Find ayah 7. The key word nafs means the soul, the self. The key word sawwaha means shaped it in balance.
Fact: Which part of the brain helps us feel emotions?
Ages 5–8: Feelings faces. Draw five faces showing different feelings. Which ones do you feel most often?
Ages 9–12: Balance it. Build a stone or block tower that balances. What happens if one side gets too heavy? How is that like our feelings?
Finish with: "I found that feelings come from ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when I have a big feeling, I will ___."
Action: Use your plan when a big feeling comes.
