4-I guide
This ayah swears by the earth and the One who spread it out.
Start with bismillah.
Spread a blanket out on the floor. Ask: "Why do we spread things out? What can we do on a flat, wide space?"
Watch the National Geographic video about how the continents have moved over time.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah do with the earth?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Were the continents always where they are now?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shams is surah 91. Find ayah 6. The key word tahaha means spread it out wide.
Fact: What was Pangaea?
Ages 5–8: Continent puzzle. Cut out a world map's continents. Can you fit Africa and South America together?
Ages 9–12: Moving plates. Find out how many centimetres a year the continents move. How far would that be in your lifetime?
Finish with: "I found that the continents move about ___ cm a year."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will look after the earth by ___."
Action: Show someone your continent puzzle.
