4-I guide
This ayah asks: and what will make you understand what the steep path is?
Start with bismillah.
Draw a mountain. Draw one road straight up it, and one that zigzags. Ask: "Which would be easier to climb?"
Watch the Doubtnut video explaining why mountain roads wind back and forth instead of going straight up.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What question does this ayah ask?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What exactly is the steep path?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Balad is surah 90. Find ayah 12. This kind of question in the Quran means: listen carefully, the answer is coming! Read ayat 13 to 16 to find it.
Fact: Why does a zigzag road make climbing easier?
Ages 5–8: Ramp test. Roll a toy car up a steep book ramp, then up a long gentle ramp. Which is easier to push?
Ages 9–12: Zigzag maths. A hill is 100 m high. A straight path is 200 m long; a zigzag path is 600 m long. Which is steeper? Work out the slope of each.
Finish with: "I found that a zigzag path is easier because ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will take one small step towards ___ every day."
Action: Take your small step each day and tick it off.
