Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Why is it hard to learn if you live far from teachers?"

Put on Saad Al-Ghamdi's At-Tawbah from Sufyan Qadhi and follow along for a little while.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What were they unaware of?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does knowledge protect faith?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 97. Some Bedouins lived far from the Prophet and his teachings, so they knew less about Islam's rules. Being near knowledge and good teachers helps faith grow. The next ayat show that many Bedouins were sincere believers too.

Fact: Find 9:99, which praises believing desert Arabs.

Ages 5–8: Learn more. Ask a grown-up to teach you one new thing about Islam.

Ages 9–12: Knowledge. Write why learning about Islam strengthens faith.

Finish with: "Some desert Arabs were praised in 9:___."

Talk together:

• What were some unaware of?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why does knowledge help?
• What will you learn this week?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn one new thing about Islam."
