Ask: "Is giving a loss or a gain?"

For a few quiet minutes, listen to Bandar Baleela reciting At-Tawbah, shared by Mus'haf.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How did they see their giving?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can giving be a gain?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 98. These people thought charity was money lost and hoped the Muslims would fail. Believers know that giving is a gain that grows with Allah.

Fact: Find Saba' 34:39: whatever you spend, He will replace it.

Ages 5–8: Giving gains. Give something and notice how it makes you feel.

Ages 9–12: Loss or gain. Write why charity is a gain.

Finish with: "Whatever you spend, Allah will ___ it."

Talk together:

• How did they see giving?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How is giving a gain?
• What will you give?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will give something and remember it is a gain."
