يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ لِتَرْضَوْا۟ عَنْهُمْ ۖ فَإِن تَرْضَوْا۟ عَنْهُمْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَرْضَىٰ عَنِ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ
Yaḥ'lifūna lakum' litar'ḍaw' ʻan'hum' . fa'in tar'ḍaw' ʻan'hum' fa'inna -llaha lā yar'ḍā ʻani l-qaw'mi l-fāssiqīna
They will swear unto you, that ye may be pleased with them but if ye are pleased with them, Allah is not pleased with those who disobey.

They swear to the believers to win their approval, but even if the believers accepted them, Allah does not accept people who keep disobeying.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is it enough if people like you?"
MZG has a short At-Tawbah clip of Mishary Alafasy reciting ayat 94–99. Play it all.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who is not pleased with them?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is Allah's pleasure what counts?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 96. Fooling people doesn't fool Allah. Being liked by people is nice, but Allah's pleasure is what truly matters.
Fact: The difference between real and fake flowers. One grows; one only looks nice.
Ages 5–8: Real or fake. Compare a real leaf and a paper leaf.
Ages 9–12: Real approval. Write why Allah's pleasure matters most.
Finish with: "Allah is not pleased with the ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will think about pleasing Allah before people."
Action: Think about pleasing Allah before people.
