Ask: "Does having lots of things make someone happy?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two things should not impress us?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can wealth become a burden?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 55. Some hypocrites were rich with many children. But without faith, their wealth brought worry and their lives ended without belief. Real success is faith, not things.

Fact: Find Al-Kahf 18:46: wealth and children are the adornment of this life, but good deeds last.

Ages 5–8: Not impressed. Talk about what really makes a person great.

Ages 9–12: Lasting. Write what Al-Kahf 18:46 says lasts longer than wealth.

Finish with: "Good deeds that ___ are better with Allah."

Talk together:

• What should not impress us?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What really matters?
• What makes someone truly great?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will notice good character instead of things."

• Don't be dazzled.
• Value good character.
• Good deeds last.
• Next time: the next ayah (9:56) says they swear they are believers. Explore it together!
