ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ أَحْبَارَهُمْ وَرُهْبَٰنَهُمْ أَرْبَابًۭا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْمَسِيحَ ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓا۟ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوٓا۟ إِلَٰهًۭا وَٰحِدًۭا ۖ لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
How to read it
Ittakhadhū 'aḥ'bārahum' waruh'bānahum' 'ar'bāban mmin dūni -llahi wal-massīḥa (i)b'na mar'yama wamā 'umirū 'illā liyaʻ'budū 'ilāhan wāḥidan . llā 'ilāha 'illā huwa . sub'ḥānahu ʻammā yush'rikūna
They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah, and (they take as their Lord) Christ the son of Mary; yet they were commanded to worship but One Allah: there is no god but He. Praise and glory to Him: (Far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him).
