يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطْفِـُٔوا۟ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى ٱللَّهُ إِلَّآ أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُۥ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ
Yurīdūna 'an yuṭ'fi'ū nūra -llahi bi'af'wāhihim' waya''bā-llahu 'illā 'an yutimma nūrahu walaw' kariha l-kāfirūna
Fain would they extinguish Allah's light with their mouths, but Allah will not allow but that His light should be perfected, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it).

They want to put out Allah's light by what they say, but Allah refuses anything except to complete His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can you blow out the sun?"
Play the short At-Tawbah clip of ayat 31–40 from HUBBU MADEENA.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do they try to put out?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why can no one stop Allah's light?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah At-Tawbah is surah 9. Find ayah 32. Some tried to stop Islam with words and lies. That is like trying to blow out the sun. Allah will complete His light, and Islam has spread across the world.
Fact: Roughly how many Muslims live in the world today.
Ages 5–8: Blow test. Blow at a torch. Does the light go out?
Ages 9–12: Light spreads. Write how Islam reached your country.
Finish with: "There are about ___ billion Muslims in the world."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will share one good thing about Islam."
Action: Share one good thing about Islam.
