4-I guide
This ayah says that food will neither make them strong nor take away their hunger.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever eaten something and still felt hungry afterwards?"
Watch The Wonder Why Lab video about why we need to eat.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two things won't that food do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What makes food truly good for us?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ghashiyah is surah 88. Find ayah 7. The key words la yusmin wa la yughni mean it won't fatten (nourish) and won't help.
Fact: What are the main kinds of nutrients our bodies need?
Ages 5–8: Rainbow plate. Draw a plate with foods of five different colours. Why is a colourful plate good for us?
Ages 9–12: Food label. Read the label on a cereal box. Find the protein, sugar and fibre. Which foods fill you up for longer?
Finish with: "I found that our bodies need ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will feed my body with ___ and my heart with ___."
Action: Try a new fruit or vegetable this week.
