4-I guide
This ayah says they will have no food except a bitter, thorny plant.
Start with bismillah.
Look at a cactus or a picture of one (don't touch!). Ask: "Would any animal want to eat that? Why not?"
Watch the AumSum cartoon about why cacti have spines.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will their only food be?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do some plants grow thorns?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ghashiyah is surah 88. Find ayah 6. The key word dari' means a dry, bitter, thorny plant.
Fact: What are cactus spines, and how do they help the plant?
Ages 5–8: Spiky or soft. Sort pictures of plants into "spiky" and "soft". Which ones would animals like to eat?
Ages 9–12: Desert plants. Find three desert plants with thorns or spines. What does each one protect?
Finish with: "I found that cactus spines are really ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will thank Allah before and after every meal."
Action: Thank Allah before and after every meal.
Don't touch cactus spines or thorns.
