4-I guide
This ayah says they will enter a blazing hot Fire.
Start with bismillah.
A gentle note for parents: keep this very short and calm. Focus on protection: what keeps us safe.
Ask: "What do firefighters wear to stay safe near fire?"
Watch the Washington Township Fire Department video about firefighters' protective equipment.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does this ayah warn about?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What protects us from the Fire of the Hereafter?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ghashiyah is surah 88. Find ayah 4. The key words naran hamiyah mean a blazing hot fire. Allah warns us so that we can stay safe.
Fact: How many layers does a firefighter's suit have, and what does each one do?
Ages 5–8: Safety gear. Draw a firefighter's gear and label each part: helmet, coat, gloves, boots, mask.
Ages 9–12: Protection list. Next to each piece of firefighter gear, write a good deed that "protects" us in the same way.
Finish with: "I found that a firefighter's suit has ___ layers."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will 'suit up' with ___ every day."
Action: Make a dua for protection every night.

Never play with fire. Firefighters train for years to be safe near it.
