So keep reminding people, because a reminder can bring benefit.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What helps you remember things? Alarms? Notes? People?"
Watch The Atlantic's video about how trees know when it's spring.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is the Prophet ﷺ told to do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who reminds me about Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'la is surah 87. Find ayah 9. The key word fa-dhakkir means "so remind". We all forget, so reminders are a gift.
Fact: What signals tell a tree that it's time to open its buds?
Ages 5–8: Twig in water. With an adult, cut a twig with buds in late winter. Put it in water indoors. Do the buds open?
Ages 9–12: Bud diary. Pick one tree near home. Photograph the same branch every week. Note what changes.
Finish with: "I found that trees know it's spring because ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will give one kind reminder and thank someone who reminds me."
Action: Give one kind reminder and thank someone who reminds you.
