4-I guide
The reminder will be taken by those who are mindful of Allah.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How can you tell a storm is coming before it arrives?"
Watch the WCNC Weather IQ video about how animals sense the weather.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who will take the reminder?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What does it mean to be mindful of Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'la is surah 87. Find ayah 10. The key words man yakhsha mean whoever is in awe of Allah. Someone who cares about pleasing Allah listens when they're reminded.
Fact: What changes in the air do animals notice before a storm?
Ages 5–8: Weather watch. Look at the sky each morning for a week. Draw it and guess the weather. Were you right?
Ages 9–12: Pressure test. Find out what a barometer measures. Make a simple one with a jar, a balloon and a straw.
Finish with: "I found that before a storm, animals ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when I'm reminded, I will say 'jazakAllahu khayran' and act on it."
Action: This week, when you're reminded, say 'jazakAllahu khayran' and act on it.
