4-I guide
Allah is the One who brings out green pasture from the earth.
Start with bismillah.
Pull up one blade of grass and look at its roots. Ask: "How many blades of grass do you think are in a whole field?"
Watch the time-lapse of a new lawn growing from seed.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah bring out?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who eats all this grass?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'la is surah 87. Find ayah 4. The key word al-mar'a means pasture: the grass and plants that animals graze on.
Fact: Which animals depend on grass, and which foods we eat come from grasses?
Ages 5–8: Grass head. Put grass seed and soil in the toe of an old sock, tie it, wet it and give it a face. Watch the "hair" grow.
Ages 9–12: Grass foods. Find out which of our foods are grasses (wheat, rice, maize, oats). Make a poster.
Finish with: "I found that ___ are all grasses."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say bismillah and alhamdulillah at every meal."
Action: Say bismillah and alhamdulillah at every meal.
