4-I guide
…and will enter a blazing Fire.
Start with bismillah.
A gentle note for parents: read this one briefly, then remind children that Allah tells us this out of care for us.
Ask: "How do you feel when you stand in strong summer sun?"
Watch the first minute or two of NASA Goddard's ultra-HD video of the Sun. (It has music.)
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where does this person end up, and why?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I stay safe from the Fire?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Inshiqaq is surah 84. Find ayah 12. The key word sa'ira means blazing. Allah warns us clearly because He wants us to choose the way to safety.
Fact: How many minutes does sunlight take to reach the Earth?
Ages 5–8: Shade test. Put one ice cube in the sun and one in the shade. Which melts first? Why?
Ages 9–12: Sun facts. Find out how hot the Sun's surface is, and why we must never look straight at it.
Finish with: "I found that sunlight reaches us in about ___ minutes."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make dua every night for Allah to protect my family from the Fire."
Action: Make your nightly dua.

Never look straight at the Sun, even with sunglasses.
