4-I guide
Allah asks: what will make you understand what Sijjin is?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What's the deepest place on Earth? Has anyone been there?"
Watch the SciShow Kids video "The Deepest Part of the Ocean!".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What question does Allah ask?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah ask a question instead of just telling?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mutaffifin is surah 83. Find ayah 8. The words wa ma adraka come again! Allah asks a question to make us pay attention before He explains. Sijjin is something we can only know about because Allah tells us.
Fact: How deep is the Mariana Trench, and what lives there?
Ages 5–8: Deep-sea drawing. Draw the ocean from top to bottom. Add sunlight at the top and strange glowing creatures at the bottom.
Ages 9–12: Pressure test. Find out why deep-sea explorers need very strong submarines.
Finish with: "I found that the deepest part of the ocean is ___ metres deep."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn one thing from the Quran about the unseen with my family."
Action: Learn one thing from the Quran about the unseen with your family.
