4-I guide
The record of the wicked is kept in Sijjin.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What's the deepest hole you've ever dug? How deep do you think people have ever dug?"
Watch the SciShow video about the deepest hole ever dug.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where is the record of the wicked kept?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What is Sijjin?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mutaffifin is surah 83. Find ayah 7. The key word sijjin is part of the unseen. Many scholars explain it as a low, closed-in place where the records of the wicked are kept.
Fact: How deep is the deepest hole people have ever drilled, and why did they stop?
Ages 5–8: Layer dig. In a tall jar, add layers of sand, soil and pebbles. Push a straw down and pull it out. What "core" did you get?
Ages 9–12: Deep Earth. Find out how hot it gets as you go deeper into the Earth.
Finish with: "I found that the deepest hole is about ___ kilometres deep."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say astaghfirullah whenever I do something wrong, and fix it."
Action: Say astaghfirullah whenever you do something wrong, and fix it.
