يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌۭ لِّنَفْسٍۢ شَيْـًۭٔا ۖ وَٱلْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلَّهِ
Yaw'ma lā tam'liku naf'sun llinaf'sin shay''an . wal-'am'ru yaw'ma'idhin llillahi
(It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah.

On that Day no soul can do anything for another, and the command will belong to Allah alone.
Start with bismillah.
Put your hand on your chest and feel your heartbeat. Ask: "Can anyone else make your heart beat for you?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who will be in command on that Day?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "If no one can help, what can I do now?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Infitar is surah 82. Find ayah 19, the last one. The key words wal-amru yawma'idhin lillah mean the command that Day is Allah's. No one can carry another person's deeds. Each of us is responsible for our own.
Fact: How many times does your heart beat in one day?
Ages 5–8: Heartbeat count. Count your heartbeats for 15 seconds, then times by four. Then jump for a minute and count again.
Ages 9–12: Heart facts. Find out how much blood your heart pumps in a day.
Finish with: "I found that my heart beats about ___ times a day."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will take care of my own deeds and help someone else do good."
Action: Take care of your own deeds and help someone else do good.
