4-I guide
Allah pours down water in plenty.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Where does the water for all our food come from in the first place?"
Watch the Met Office video "What is a monsoon?".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah pour down?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How much rain does it take to grow a meal?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah 'Abasa is surah 80. Find ayah 25. The key words sababna al-ma'a sabba mean We poured down water in torrents. This is the first step in the journey of our food.
Fact: Which countries depend most on the monsoon rains for their crops?
Ages 5–8: Rain gauge. Make a rain gauge from a clear bottle. Measure the rain for a week.
Ages 9–12: Water for food. Find out how much water it takes to grow one apple or one loaf of bread.
Finish with: "I found that it takes about ___ litres of water to grow ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will save water at home and make dua when it rains."
Action: Save water at home and make dua when it rains.
