4-I guide
Then, when He wills, He will raise him up again.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What happens to a garden after a long, cold winter?"
Watch eLapse's time-lapse of a tulip growing from a bulb.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will Allah do when He wills?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How will Allah raise everyone?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah 'Abasa is surah 80. Find ayah 22. The key words idha sha'a ansharah mean when He wills, He will raise him. Just as Allah brings flowers back each spring, He will raise every person again.
Fact: How can a tulip bulb stay underground all winter and then flower?
Ages 5–8: Bulb planting. Plant a bulb in a pot with an adult. Mark the date. Wait for spring!
Ages 9–12: Sleeping bulbs. Find out what's stored inside a bulb that helps it grow in spring.
Finish with: "I found that bulbs survive winter by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do a good deed I'd love to see on the Day I'm raised."
Action: Do your good deed.
