Then He made the way easy for him.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How long does it take a human baby to learn to walk? What about a baby horse?"
Watch the BBC video of a newborn foal taking its first steps.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah make easy?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What has Allah made easy for me?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah 'Abasa is surah 80. Find ayah 20. The key words as-sabila yassarah mean He made the way easy. Scholars explain that Allah made our coming into the world, and the path of guidance, easy for us.
Fact: How soon after birth can a foal stand and walk?
Ages 5–8: Easy list. Draw five things Allah made easy for you (breathing, seeing, walking…).
Ages 9–12: Born ready. Find three animals that can walk soon after birth, and three that can't. Why the difference?
Finish with: "I found that a foal can walk within ___ of being born."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make one thing easier for someone at home."
Action: Make one thing easier for someone at home.
