4-I guide
It is written in honoured pages.
Start with bismillah.
Hold your mushaf gently. Ask: "What's special about these pages?"
Watch the Dr. Binocs video about the invention of paper.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How does Allah describe the pages?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why are the Quran's pages honoured?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah 'Abasa is surah 80. Find ayah 13. The key words suhufin mukarramah mean honoured pages. Many scholars say this refers to the Quran as it is kept with Allah, and we honour our copies too.
Fact: How is paper made from trees?
Ages 5–8: Make paper. With an adult, tear up scrap paper, soak it, mash it and press it flat to dry. You've made new paper!
Ages 9–12: Paper history. Find out where paper was invented and how it travelled to the Muslim world.
Finish with: "I found that paper is made by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will keep my mushaf clean, high and safe."
Action: Keep your mushaf clean, high and safe.
