So whoever wishes will remember it.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Which animal is famous for its amazing memory?"
Watch the John Downer Productions video of elephants digging for water.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who will remember the reminder?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I make myself remember?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah 'Abasa is surah 80. Find ayah 12. The key words fa-man sha'a dhakarah mean whoever wishes will remember it. Remembering the Quran is a choice we make, again and again.
Fact: How do elephants remember where to find water in dry times?
Ages 5–8: Memory map. Draw a map of your home from memory. Then check it. What did you remember?
