4-I guide
On the Day the first great quake shakes everything…
Start with bismillah.
Build a small tower of blocks on a tray, then shake the tray gently. Ask: "Which towers stay up?"
Watch the TED-Ed video "Why do buildings fall in earthquakes?".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will happen on that Day?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How big will the quake be?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nazi'at is surah 79. Find ayah 6. The key word ar-rajifah means the violent quake, the first blast that shakes everything on that Day.
Fact: How do engineers make buildings safer in earthquakes?
Ages 5–8: Wobble towers. Build towers of different shapes on a tray. Shake gently. Which shape is strongest?
Ages 9–12: Safety plan. Find out what to do if there's an earthquake (drop, cover, hold on).
Finish with: "I found that buildings stay safer in earthquakes when ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will strengthen my foundation by praying on time."
Action: Strengthen your foundation by praying on time.
