كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوٓا۟ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَىٰهَا
Ka'annahum' yaw'ma yaraw'nahā lam' yal'bathū 'illā ʻashiyyatan 'aw' ḍuḥāhā
The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn!

On the Day they see it, it will seem they stayed only an evening or a morning.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can you think of a creature that lives only a day?"
Watch the Nat Geo Animals video "The 24-Hour Life of the Mayfly".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How long will this life seem on that Day?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I make my short life count?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nazi'at is surah 79. Find ayah 46, the last one. The key words 'ashiyyatan aw duhaha mean an evening or its morning. On that Day, our whole life will feel like a few hours. Every moment matters.
Fact: How long does a mayfly live as a flying adult?
Ages 5–8: One day plan. If you had one day, what good things would you do? Draw your plan.
Ages 9–12: Life timeline. Draw a line for 80 years of life. Mark where you are now. How much time is left for good?
Finish with: "I found that an adult mayfly lives for about ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make every day count with at least one good deed."
Action: Make every day count with at least one good deed.
