But it will be just a single shout…
Start with bismillah.
Strike a tuning fork (or a spoon on a glass) and touch it to some water. Ask: "What did one tap do?"
Watch NASA's video "What is a sonic boom?".
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How many shouts will it take?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can one sound wake everyone?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nazi'at is surah 79. Find ayah 13. The key words zajratun wahidah mean a single shout. For Allah, raising everyone is easy: it takes just one command.
Fact: What is a sonic boom, and how far away can it be heard?
Ages 5–8: One-tap music. Tap glasses with different amounts of water. Does one tap make a note?
Ages 9–12: Sound waves. Find out how fast sound travels in air and in water.
Finish with: "I found that a sonic boom happens when ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will answer the adhan as soon as I hear it."
Action: Answer the adhan as soon as you hear it.
