4-I guide
…and suddenly they will be awake on the open earth.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Which animals sleep all winter and then suddenly wake up?"
Watch the Mystery Science video about how animals know when to wake from hibernation.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where will people suddenly find themselves?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What will it feel like to wake up on that Day?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nazi'at is surah 79. Find ayah 14. The key word as-sahirah means the open, wakeful ground. Everyone will suddenly be awake and standing on the earth's surface.
Fact: How do hibernating animals know when spring has come?
Ages 5–8: Sleep and wake. Draw a hedgehog asleep in winter and awake in spring.
Ages 9–12: Hibernation facts. Find out how slow a hibernating animal's heart beats.
Finish with: "I found that hibernating animals wake up when ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say the waking-up dua every morning."
Action: Say the waking-up dua every morning.
