They said: that would be a losing return!
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Butterflies fly thousands of kilometres and come back. Is their return a win or a loss?"
Watch National Geographic's video about monarch butterfly migration.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the doubters say about the return?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can my return be a winning one?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nazi'at is surah 79. Find ayah 12. The key words karratun khasirah mean a losing return. They said it mockingly. But the return is real, and it will be a loss only for those who did not prepare.
Fact: How far do monarch butterflies travel, and how do they find their way?
