If they will not believe in this Quran, then what message after it will they believe?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What's the most important book in your home?"
Watch the TED-Ed video The hidden treasures of Timbuktu.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What question ends the surah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is the Quran the message to believe?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mursalat is surah 77. Find ayah 50, the last ayah. The key words hadithin ba'dahu mean a message after it. The surah ends with a question. If someone won't believe the Quran, with all its signs, what could convince them? Muslim scholars in Timbuktu loved books and kept the Quran's light of learning alive.
Fact: What did the scholars of Timbuktu write about?
Ages 5–8: Book corner. Make a special shelf for your mushaf and favourite books.
Ages 9–12: Old learning. Find two subjects the Timbuktu manuscripts cover.
Finish with: "I found that Timbuktu's manuscripts are about ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will read or listen to part of the Quran every day."
Action: Read or listen to part of the Quran every day.
