4-I guide
In fact, each of them wants to be given open scrolls of his own.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do you think paper was first made?"
Watch the Dreamora Tales video The Amazing Story of Paper.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does each of them want?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why wasn't the Quran enough for them?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Muddaththir is surah 74. Find ayah 52. The key words suhufan munashsharah mean scrolls spread open. Each proud person wanted a book sent just to him before he would believe. The message had already come to them all.
Fact: What plants and materials were used to write on before paper?
Ages 5–8: Make a scroll. Roll a long strip of paper around two pencils. Write one kind sentence on it.
Ages 9–12: Paper history. Find how paper making travelled from China to the Muslim world and then to Europe.
Finish with: "I found that before paper, people wrote on ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will keep my mushaf in a clean, special place."
Action: Keep your mushaf in a clean, special place.
