وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن تَقُولَ ٱلْإِنسُ وَٱلْجِنُّ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًۭا
Wa 'annā ẓanannā 'an llan taqūla l-'insu wal-jinnu ʻalā-llahi kadhiban
'But we do think that no man or spirit should say aught that untrue against Allah.

They said they had thought that no human or jinn would ever tell a lie about Allah.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do you feel when you find out someone wasn't telling the truth?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What had they believed?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is lying about Allah so serious?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Jinn is surah 72. Find ayah 5. The key words zanannaa an lan taqula mean we thought no one would say. They believed the false things they were told because they never imagined anyone would lie about Allah. Honesty keeps trust as clear as spring water.
Fact: Why is spring water often so clear?
Ages 5–8: Clear and cloudy. Put a spoon of soil in one glass of water. Compare it with a clean glass. Which can you see through?
Ages 9–12: Honest check. Keep a tally for a day of every time you tell the full truth.
Finish with: "I found that spring water is clear because ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will tell the whole truth, even about small things."
Action: Tell the whole truth, even about small things.
