4-I guide
They said the foolish ones among them used to say outrageous things about Allah.
Start with bismillah.
Say "The sky is blue" and "Blue is the prettiest colour." Ask: "Which is a fact and which is an opinion?"
Watch the Teaching Without Frills video Fact or Opinion for Kids.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the foolish ones do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people say untrue things about Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Jinn is surah 72. Find ayah 4. The key words safihuna and shatata mean our foolish one and outrageous words. Some of them had said false things about Allah. After hearing the Quran, they saw the difference between truth and lies.
Fact: What is the difference between a fact and an opinion?
Ages 5–8: Fact sort. Write five sentences on cards. Sort them into facts and opinions.
Ages 9–12: Check it. Choose a claim you heard. Find a reliable source that shows if it's true.
Finish with: "I found that a fact is something that ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say Allah knows best whenever I'm not sure."
Action: Say Allah knows best whenever you're not sure.
