وَأَلَّوِ ٱسْتَقَٰمُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسْقَيْنَٰهُم مَّآءً غَدَقًۭا
Wa 'allawi (i)s'taqāmū ʻalā ṭṭarīqati la'as'qay'nāhum mmā'an ghadaqan
(And Allah's Message is): "If they (the Pagans) had (only) remained on the (right) Way, We should certainly have bestowed on them Rain in abundance.

If people had stayed straight on the right way, Allah would have given them plenty of rain.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why are some places very rainy and others very dry?"
Watch the Little School video Kids Learn About Monsoons.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What would Allah give those who stay straight?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How are good deeds and blessings linked?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Jinn is surah 72. Find ayah 16. The key words law istaqamu 'alat-tariqah mean if they stayed straight on the way, and ma'an ghadaqa means abundant water. Rain is a mercy from Allah that brings food and life.
Fact: What is a monsoon?
Ages 5–8: Rain gauge. Put a straight-sided jar outside. Measure the rain each day for a week.
Ages 9–12: Rainiest places. Find the three rainiest places on Earth.
Finish with: "I found that a monsoon is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when it rains, I will thank Allah."
Action: This week, when it rains, thank Allah.
