Wa 'ammā l-qāssiṭūna fakānū lijahannama ḥaṭaban

Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What do we burn to make heat and power?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does the ayah warn about?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I stay on the right side?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Jinn is surah 72. Find ayah 15. The key word hataba means firewood, fuel. This is the jinn's own warning about those who choose wrong. It reminds us that choices matter, and Allah's door to turn back is always open in this life.
Fact: How are coal and oil formed?
Ages 5–8: Energy hunt. Find three things at home that use energy. Where does the energy come from?
Ages 9–12: Fuel compare. Compare wood, coal and sunlight as sources of energy.
Finish with: "I found that coal is formed from ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, when I make a mistake, I will turn back to Allah straight away."
Action: Turn back to Allah after a mistake.
