4-I guide
Allah has spread the earth out for you like a carpet.
Start with bismillah.
Unroll a rug or mat on the floor. Ask: "Why is a flat surface useful?"
Watch the Next Generation Science video Grasslands.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is the earth compared to?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did Allah make the earth easy to walk on?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Nuh is surah 71. Find ayah 19. The key word bisata means a spread carpet. Wide grasslands and plains stretch out like a carpet, easy to walk, farm and live on. Allah made the earth comfortable for us.
Fact: How much of Earth's land is grassland?
Ages 5–8: Carpet map. Draw your neighbourhood as if it were a carpet seen from above.
Ages 9–12: Grassland names. Find the names of grasslands on three continents.
Finish with: "I found that grasslands cover about ___ of Earth's land."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will pick up litter from the ground near my home."
Action: Pick up litter from the ground near your home.
