4-I guide
Later Allah puts you back into the earth, and one day brings you out again.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Where does an acorn end up, and what can it become?"
Watch the Twinkl video Life Cycle of an Oak Tree.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will Allah do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How will Allah bring us out again?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Nuh is surah 71. Find ayah 18. The key words yu'idukum fiha wa yukhrijukum ikhraja mean He returns you into it and brings you out. An acorn falls into the soil and comes out as an oak. Allah will bring every person out again on the Day of Rising.
Fact: How long does an oak tree take to grow acorns?
Ages 5–8: Life circle. Draw an oak's life cycle in a circle: acorn, seedling, tree, acorns again.
Ages 9–12: Leaf to soil. Find out how fallen leaves become new soil.
Finish with: "I found that an oak makes acorns after about ___ years."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one good deed I'd love to find on that Day."
Action: Do one good deed you'd love to find on that Day.
