4-I guide
Do you not see how Allah created seven heavens, one above another?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "If you flew straight up, what would you pass through?"
Watch the Happy Learning video The Earth's Atmosphere: Up and beyond the sky.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How are the heavens arranged?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What is beyond the sky we see?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Nuh is surah 71. Find ayah 15. The key words sab'a samawatin tibaqa mean seven heavens in layers. Nuh pointed his people to the sky as a sign. Our atmosphere has layers too, though the seven heavens are far greater than anything we can study.
Fact: What are the layers of Earth's atmosphere called?
Ages 5–8: Layer cake. Stack coloured paper strips to show the sky's layers, with Earth at the bottom.
Ages 9–12: Sky heights. Find how high each atmosphere layer goes.
Finish with: "I found that the first layer of the atmosphere is called ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will look up at the sky each day and remember Allah."
Action: Look up at the sky each day and remember Allah.
