4-I guide
And the mountains will be like fluffed wool.
Start with bismillah.
Pull apart a little cotton wool. Ask: "How heavy does it feel?"
Watch the SciShow Kids video Wonderful Wool!
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will mountains be like?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can huge mountains become light like wool?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'arij is surah 70. Find ayah 9. The key word kal-'ihn means like fluffed, coloured wool. Mountains feel so heavy and strong. On that Day they will float apart like wool pulled by the wind.
Fact: How is sheep's wool turned into yarn?
Ages 5–8: Wool fluff. Pull apart a cotton ball slowly. Draw a mountain turning into fluff.
Ages 9–12: Wool journey. Draw the steps from sheep to sweater.
Finish with: "I found that wool becomes yarn by ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will give away a warm item of clothing I don't need."
Action: Give away a warm item of clothing you don't need.
