4-I guide
On that Day the sky will be like molten metal.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What does metal look like when it's so hot it glows?"
Watch the How It's Made video How Steel Is Made.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will the sky be like?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can the sky change so much?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'arij is surah 70. Find ayah 8. The key word kal-muhl means like molten metal or oil. Today the sky is calm and blue. On that Day it will glow and melt like hot metal.
Fact: What colours does metal glow as it gets hotter?
Ages 5–8: Sky colours. Paint the sky in calm blue, then in glowing red and gold.
Ages 9–12: Hot colours. Find out why hot metal glows red, then orange, then white.
Finish with: "I found that metal glows ___ when it is hottest."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will look at the sky and thank Allah for its calm."
Action: Look at the sky and thank Allah for its calm.
