Start with bismillah.

Show "happy", "sad" and "ashamed" with only your body, no words. Ask: "Could others guess?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How will their eyes look?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I make sure I'm not ashamed on that Day?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'arij is surah 70. Find ayah 44, the last ayah. The key words khashi'atan absaruhum mean their eyes lowered in shame. Our bodies show our feelings, like a drooping flower shows it needs water. The surah ends with this warning, so we choose good now.

Fact: What does a drooping flower need to stand up again?

Ages 5–8: Body feelings. Act out five feelings. Let your family guess each one.

Ages 9–12: Revive a plant. Water a drooping plant and time how long it takes to stand up again.

Finish with: "I found that a drooping plant needs ___."

Talk together:

• How can we live so we're happy, not ashamed, on that Day?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• What can we do now when we feel ashamed of a mistake?
• How does Allah's forgiveness lift us up?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will put right one mistake and ask Allah's forgiveness."
