4-I guide
It is for those who reject faith, and no one can push it away.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Could people ever stop a hurricane?"
Watch the CBC video Can you stop a hurricane from happening?
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Can anyone stop it?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What can people never stop?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ma'arij is surah 70. Find ayah 2. The key words laysa lahu dafi' mean there is no one to push it back. People can't even stop a hurricane. Nothing can stop what Allah has decided.
Fact: How much energy does a hurricane release?
Ages 5–8: Wind power. Blow a paper boat across water. Can a strong wind be stopped by your hand?
Ages 9–12: Storm tracking. Find out how scientists warn people before hurricanes.
Finish with: "I found that a hurricane releases ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn our family's storm safety plan."
Action: Learn our family's storm safety plan.
