أَوَلَمْ يَتَفَكَّرُوا۟ ۗ مَا بِصَاحِبِهِم مِّن جِنَّةٍ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌۭ مُّبِينٌ
'Awalam' yatafakkarū . mā biṣāḥibihim mmin jinnatin . 'in' huwa 'illā nadhīrun mmubīnun
Do they not reflect? Their companion is not seized with madness: he is but a perspicuous warner.

The Prophet, their companion, is not mad at all but only a clear warner, if only they would think.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why did some call the Prophet mad?"
Islamic Videos has the whole of Al-A'raf by a reciter. Play just the first stretch.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is the Prophet?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah ask them to think?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 184. Some called the Prophet mad. Allah asks them to think: they knew him all his life as wise and honest. He was a clear warner.
Fact: Find Saba' 34:46: think in pairs and alone.
Ages 5–8: Think. Spend one minute thinking about the Prophet's character.
Ages 9–12: Reflect. Write why thinking leads to truth.
Finish with: "Think in pairs and ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn one fact about the Prophet's character."
Action: Learn one fact about the Prophet's character.
