Start with bismillah.

Ask: "When did you last really look at the sky?"

a reciter recites Al-A'raf on subrek tv. A few minutes is plenty.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What should they look at?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can looking at creation change us?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-A'raf is surah 7. Find ayah 185. Allah invites us to look at the universe and think. It reminds us of His power and that our time is short.

Fact: How many galaxies scientists estimate? About two trillion. A sign to ponder.

Ages 5–8: Sky gazing. Look at the night sky and say subhanallah.

Ages 9–12: Malakut. Write what you notice when looking at creation.

Finish with: "There may be about two ___ galaxies."

Talk together:

• What should we look at?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How does it change us?
• What do you see in the sky?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will look at the sky and think about Allah."

• Gaze at the sky.
• Time is short.
